Its technical features, adaptability and versatility make the porcelain stoneware suitable for many different purposes.Laying may be by either using cement mortar or glue. However, its own features suggest a wider use of glue which provides more adhesion and elasticity and guarantees greater mechanical strength of the paving. More than traditional paving porcelain stoneware is successful also when laid on heating backgrounds and represents an enlarged useful material when laid on raised flooring.In the laying step, both with cement and glue, it’s recommended the observance of the joints, that is the recourse to a leak of at least 1 mm between the tiles for Our Rectified Collections. About the Not-Rectified Ones, it’s recommended a leak of at least 3mm. Our porcelain stoneware tiles come with a protective coating on thesurface to preserve their beauty during the process of laying the tile and,when necessary, finishing the rooms before they enter into use.The protective coating can be completely removed, along with any grimy residue from laying, by using suitable products, taking care to follow the instructions given on the products and to use no other detergents/chemical agents/cleaners before or during the application of such products that could reduce their effectiveness. Any encrusted residue from stickers or grout used for laying the tile should be removed by using the products or procedures recommended by the suppliers of such products (since we cannot know in advancewhat they are), and generally speaking, after removing the protective coating from our tiles.We shall accept no responsibility for improper use of these productsor interactions with our protective coatings that could compromise theperformance and original look of the surface.
